There are many pathways across Tooting Bec Common so print off the map above to see where the Lido is. Walking across the Common is a wonderful way of getting to this watery gem.
By Bike
Cycling through the Common is a great way to arrive. The Lido sits alongside the railway line so if you use the map and cycle towards it you’ll soon discover one of the largest pools in Europe.
By Tube
Take the Northern Line and get off at Tooting Bec or Balham. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk to Tooting Bec Lido from either station.
By Bus
Routes 249 and 319 leave from Tooting Bec Tube Station, alight outside Tooting Bec Lido – 5 minutes.
Routes 155 and 355 leave from Balham Tube Station, alight in Garrards Road – 5 minutes.
By Train
Balham Overground Station/Streatham/Streatham Hill – 15 to 20 minute walk to Tooting Bec Lido.
By Car
The Lido is situated on Tooting Bec Road (A214) on Tooting Bec Common. There is a small car park with limited space so please try and get to the Lido by other means if possible.
