We swim outdoors all year round. Our home is Tooting Bec Lido. It is the largest fresh water pool in England, encircled by trees and birdsong. The water is clear and cold and the welcome warm. We encourage people to share in these pleasures and also work to preserve outdoor swimming pools for future generations.

We are one of England's oldest swimming clubs, founded in 1906. We started holding our races at Tooting Bec LIdo in 1908 and have been here ever since.

Summer opening: 6am - 7.45pm. SLSC members please remember you must show your membership card to gain free entry.

In line with Wandsworth Council's policy to be a smoke-free borough, smoking is not permitted at Tooting Bec Lido. As Tooting Bec Lido has a no readmission policy, there will be a small designated area where smoking is permitted.

We now have a hoist at the lido which enables people with disabilities to get in the pool with the assistance of the life guards.

Registration is now open for the 2008 Aquathlon Series.
