The SLSC River Thames swim is a one-mile summer evening swim down the Thames from Kingston Bridge to the Royal Canoe Club at Trowlock Island, followed by beer and barbecue.
Enter below to compete for one of the three club handicap and open trophies or glide along the Thames inspecting the riverside gardens.
Open to SLSC members only. Entries are limited to maximum of 50 swimmers.
This is a race, not an introductory tutorial to open water swimming. Although a flotilla of safety canoes will cover all competitors, every swimmer must be confident swimming one mile in open water and convince the Swim Captain of this.
After the swim, grab a drink from the Royal Canoe Club bar and tuck into a delicious barbecue (the food is included in the race fee). We can’t think of a better way to spend a Friday evening in July.
If you are bringing supporters please buy BBQ only - see below.
If you have any questions please email Charles on email@example.com
