Following a really successful summer season playing in both Brockwell and Tooting lidos each week our ever growing squad has now moved to our warm water facilities for the winter.
Out of the open air season we hold weekly recreational water polo sessions at Alleyn’s School Pool, Dulwich which are open to all levels of skill and experience. These coached sessions are for all genders, abilities and ages. Whether you are a seasoned player or an absolute beginner – come and give it a go.
Indoor “winter” training sessions from September to May are held at Alleyn’s School Pool at 10 - 11.45am. Arrive at 9.45am to be in the water by 10.00am. We also play “friendly” matches against London League teams during the week.
Open to all SLSC members, £10 per session, book below or pay on the day. Intro session and trial session for non members free!
To participate you should be competent swimmers who are comfortable treading water at the deep end for long periods of time. To avoid injury, no goggles, eyewear or jewellery can be worn during the sessions. We recommend you wear disposable contact lenses in case they get splashed out during the session. All you need to bring is your swim suit and a towel (to keep warm in case its chilly!). Water polo caps and everything else you’ll need is provided by the club.
We will return with sessions at to our ‘true dual homes’ in both Brockwell and Tooting Bec lidos from 26 May 2020 at Brockwell.
The 2nd annual Brockwell Water Polo Cup will be held on 24 June 2020.
